The Paperback L.A. trio of anthologies has been completed with the spring launch of Paperback L.A. Book 3, A Casual Anthology: Secrets. Sigalerts. Ravines. Records. Spring is L.A.’s most literary season, and this year it extended from April through May for us with events including:
- a preview in April at the L.A. Times Festival of Books
- a meet n greet on Indie Bookstore Day in April at Flintridge Bookstore
- a launch in May at the Helms Design Center
- panels and conversation at the Pasadena Lit Fest in May
Then we went offline and outta town for a break. So, here’s an update in photos:

Paperback L.A. was part of the discussion about collaboration in publishing on Saturday at the Pasadena LitFest, and was featured with David Kipen’s Dear Los Angeles in a two-editor discussion, “Micro-Doses of L.A.: The Anthologists’s Challenge.”
