You can tell how cool the company we keep is at Paperback L.A. Book 1, A Casual Anthology. Folks keep talking about our contributors in glowing terms.
Take Clancy Sigal, L.A.’s poster boy for 50s-60s political chutzpah and an inspiration to generations of impatient rights fighters. We are privileged to include an excerpt from Mr. Sigal’s memoir, Black Sunset: Hollywood Sex, Lies, Glamour, Betrayal and Raging Egos, and as Paperback L.A. Book 1 was launched, we heard from Janice Tidwell, Mr. Sigal’s wife, that the UK edition of Black Hollywood had hit the shelves there along with his other memoir, The London Lover: My Weekend that Lasted Thirty Years.
With thanks to Janice for this timely sharing that we hope will inspire those who enjoy Clancy’s writing to keep an ear out for his wonderful voice, here’s the Spectator review: Spectator Review May 2018 of Clancy Sigal Memoirs.
